Courses commence from 8th March 2008

It is our objective to analyse candidates riding style and discuss methods, systems and techniques to improve their machine handling skills and raise their awareness of traffic conditions. To generally improve the pleasure they obtain from Motorcycling in a real world environment.

The course is open to any riders who have a powered two wheeler capable of comfortably reaching and maintaining the National Speed Limit where appropriate and safe to do so. Riders should generally have passed a DSA test at least 12 months prior to commencement of the course and have at least 3,000 miles Motorcycling experience. This is not a hard and fast rule; some may need much more to feel confident, some much less.

Theory sessions and riding sessions of 2 hours at a time continue for 9 weeks at a cost of £149 (£123 for applicants under the age of 25 and 9 months) to include the RoADaR test and first year’s associate membership of the group and RoSPA.

We will be providing an audio visual presentation and literature in our Candidate pack as well as course work, study notes, an optional written examination for the brave and a progress passport to be completed as the course continues for the candidates to keep. The books Motorcycle RoadCraft The Police Riders Handbook to better Motorcycling, the current edition of The Highway Code and Know your Traffic Signs are required material for pre course study or will be sold at the commencement of first session.

In association with Surrey Police BikeSafe we are pleased to be able to offer a further discount of £20 to anyone recommended to us by Surrey Police BikeSafe having completed a course with them.
